Fullerton is situated in northern Orange County and currently has a population of 126,003. It was established in 1887 by George and Edward Amerige, The land was secured for Atchison, Santa Fe Railway, and Topeka by George H. Fullerton, who the city was named after.
Originally, the city was focused primarily on agriculture. The warm climate allows groves of citrus crops (in particular Valencia oranges), to flourish.
