Sunnyvale is a beautiful city in the San Francisco Bay Area located just an hour away from the Pacific Ocean. As well, there are several colleges that are only minutes away from the city, such as Cogswell College, De Anza, Foothill, Mission Community Colleges, and West Valley.

In November 2009, for the first time in three decades, several main streets downtown were opened to vehicle and pedestrian traffic as the main construction was finally completed. In December of the same year, the city began working on the exteriors of some of the buildings on McKinley Ave and Washington Ave, as well as the two office towers on Mathilda. They also started to weatherize the partially-completed Redwood Square building.
