Fremont is a prospering city in Alameda County with a current population of 213,000, making it the forth largest city in the San Francisco Bay area and California’s fifth largest city. It is located on the southeast side of the Bay and covers a total area of 92 square miles.
The city itself is a beautiful place to live. Fremont has the typical moderate climate of most cities in California. It is a perfect example of an urban metropolis. Because of its ideal location, Fremont is a very popular business location. It is very close to Interstates 680 and 880 and rail transport lines including Altamont Commuter Express (ACE), Amtrak Capitol Corrido, and the Bay Area Rapid Transit System, which are convenient and efficient. It is quick and easy to get to the San Jose Airport, Oakland Airport, and the San Francisco Airport from the city. The Port of Oakland is also just a short driving distance away.
