The pallet lift is equipment with the capability to handle and maneuver pallets of different weights and size. This lift can function as standalone equipment on its own strength; and at the same time it is amenable to function with other types of heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts and the like, as an attachment.
The design of a pallet lift typically comprises a pair of forks that are placed beneath the pallet to be lifted, with a bar that stabilizes the pallet when it is in the air. The forks are mounted to a hydraulic system. In a variant to this design, the lift itself is kept fixed, while an overhead lift or tractor performs the movement of the pallets.
